Yes, to ice skate in Texas you have to go to an indoor rink. Cooper had never been ice skating before and our good friends, the Arnett’s, suggested taking the kiddos ice skating a couple of weeks ago. We were brave and even took Bailey to join in the fun. No ice skating for Mom or Bailey, but we had fun watching everyone. The temperature in the rink was 53! A little cold for Bailey Bear, but thanks to Mrs. Carrie, she was nice and warm with her little hat/scarf set!
Cooper and Julia did quite well. They lasted for about an hour. I am not sure what is more impressive…that the kids lasted that long or the dads (who were basically holding the kiddos up for an hour) Scott said that he got quite the upper body workout. We will have to go again soon. Thanks to the Arnett’s for the great idea.
