Well, the time has come. Cooper is involved in his first organized sports team. Dad took him to his first T-ball practice last night. As we all knew would happen, Scott has volunteered to help coach. He is an assistant coach since T-ball practice extends into his volleyball season in August.
Info about the team, according to Scott:
- Team consist of fifteen 3-5 year olds
- The kids decided that the team name was the Wildcats (according to Scott, he did not suggest this???)
- Two kids from Coops class are on the team: Riley and Paul
- One of Scott’s assistants from Creek, his little boy plays on the team…and Greg, the dad, is an assistant too.
Fun things that happened at practice:
- Cooper told Scott that he want him just to coach him while Scott was helping another player hit.
- Cooper decided mid practice that he was going to take his own water break, not at the designated time.
- Cooper swung the bat at the tee and then stated that he was tired….Please be reminded that this child can hit balls at home for hours! and never get tired.
I am not sure who was more exhausted, Scott or Cooper.
Enjoy the pics!
