Last night, Scott was brave and took Cooper to the Rocket’s game. They had a blast to say the least. We had been playing up the game for a while. Scott had even shown Cooper some videos online of Clutch the Bear. Cooper has been making up songs and singing them with his guitar, about Clutch, for the past week.
We all went out to eat before the game, here in League City. Scott figured it would be a little hard to eat at the game, considering that he would be the only one there to get Cooper to the seats, and carry food. So, Cooper picked Lenny’s Sub Shop. We had a family dinner and then the boys were OFF to the game. Mom did some cleaning and preparing for the party which was this morning. So, it worked out GREAT!
Scott got to the game about 6:30, game time was 7:30. They have little kids zone. They were able to meet Clutch, shoot some hoops, and what else but see the Rocket’s Power Dancers! What a father/son thing! After the kids zone, they got to see the Red Rowdies. They are a group of fans that get free season tickets based on the fact they are loud and cheer the whole game. They have their own section. Then, off to their seats. They got to see the intro with the Rocket blasting off. This is the part that Cooper was most excited about telling everyone!
They stayed until the 2nd quarter. Scott and Cooper were both worn out. But, it did give Scott time to get home and catch the rest of the game on TV!
I am sure this is only the beginning of Scott taking Coopster to sporting events!
Clutch climbing the ladder at the beginning of the game, trying to get the crowd to make some noise.
Maybe Cooper will be as tall as Yao one day…what do you think? Good ole CLUTH!
The Red ROWDIES!
Scott’s favorite players. He is brain washing Coop already.
Shane Battier Chase Budinger (not sure on the spelling)
Remember, Daddy took him, not me. Cooper and I did have a discussion about how they were not wearing enough clothes and how beautiful his mom his. So, he is mentally okay now!
Shooting some hoops before the game!
THANKS DAD for a great time!
Coop’s favorite part. The jumbo-tron is used to make it look like a rocket lifting off…
HAPPY
BIRTHDAY,
Cooper
