We have been hanging out a lot lately at the house. Cooper has been in a terrible two stage for about a month now. Not bad, just lots of whining and wanting things his way, but we have managed to find lots of fun things to try and distract his little mind.
When you run out of bread, no need to eliminate the PB&J, just make it out of crackers…
Every once in a while, a lion shows up while eating….we all must get out feet off the ground for fear of being bitten…
This is Cooper being scared of the lion…we like to pretend…wish that you could see me up on top of the counter….full family participation.
For Halloween, Cooper decided to be a Fire Fighter. So, of course, we have to have a fire extinguisher to go with the costume. We snuck up on daddy and squirted him with the extinguisher!
Cooper has always loved to paint. I went to Michael’s recently, and they had their tempera paint on sale, so I pick up one in each color…the washable kind. Cooper is watching to see what Daddy paints first….a little Jack-o-latern…
and an aTm symbol..predictable! Cooper begins... Believe it or not, Cooper is painting a fire truck. Also, making the siren sound to go along with it!
Cooper got to paint his hand at school the other day and put it on paper…so why not at the house too….he did it all by himself!
FORT SIMONDS! For the first time, we made a fort out of the dining room table. Cooper thought this was much better than the other tent that we have. Too bad that Mom and Dad have to duck when going in this tent…
A little singing while hanging out in the tent…great memories!
Last but not least, we ended the weekend with a bubble bath. Beards for everyone!
Not too much else going on. Just going and cheering for Daddy’s team! They play Lake on Friday…big game…Creek needs to win.
GOOD LUCK!
