San Antonio

Last weekend, we were invited to Canyon Lake to go to my dept. heads house from this past year.  I was not able to make it last year and just heard that the place was amazing.  It is right on the river, and since Teresa has grandkids, she had everything that was needed to keep a 2 year old busy.  Scott was not able to go since he had already made plans to play golf with some buddies in honor of his birthday, June 23rd, since he will be out of town on his actual birthday.  So, Coop and I headed to San Antonio……

Mrs. Kaci.  She is taking over for Teresa as dept. head next year since Teresa is selling her house in Friendswood and going to live at the river house!  Aren’t we SO jealous! The view is just amazing and so relaxing.  Camia enjoying the day.  Camia is a friend from Springs and she is tying the knot in July.   Like I said, lots to do.  Coop playing on the rope swing.

What a true River BUM!Thanks Teresa for such a great time and experience.  You will be missed.

Since we did not get on the road until almost 10, I called up my friend Stacy to see if she wanted to get together for dinner and then my plan was to head home and pray that Coop fell asleep in the car.  Stacy coached volleyball with me at Lake, and moved to San Antonio to get closer to family.  She was  a head BB coach for a while.  She just finished her masters in Administration and will be working on getting a principal job after this next year. 

We ended up staying the night with Stace!  Cooper loved to play with her little dog, Fergie!

Stace and ME!  Just like old times!
