Potty Training?

So, we started the potty training adventure yesterday.  Cooper just seemed ready.  Most of the time he will wake up from his naps dry and about half the time, he will wake up in the morning dry.  In addition, he likes going to the potty, especially when he gets to go tee tee like daddy.  This means that he stands up.  NICE!

Yesterday was a good day.  We put his undies on first thing in the morning.  Then when it came to nap time, he would not even let me put on a diaper.  He woke up dry!  Yippee.  We only had one accident.  We were playing outside and he came around the corner with soaked shorts!  Oops.  However, he did pee and poop in the potty 9 times yesterday, and only had 1 accident.  9 out of 10 is not bad. We put on a nighttime pull up for the night. 

Today, no messes yet.  He is napping right now, not sure if he will be dry again when he gets up…but how nice would that be.  It is a little tiring, in that I take him to the restroom about every 40 minutes or so. But, no more diapers would be grand!
