This past weekend we went to the Maryn Farm Festival at Armand Bayou Nature Center. It was great. Cooper got to pet a rabbit and baby chicks. He got to see horses and donkeys. EEE-awwww. We got to make bubbles with homemade blowers and homemade bubbles. Cooper really liked to watch and listen to the dulcimer band. We got to go into the farm house and churn butter and tried the homemade tasty biscuits. YUM YUM. We then went on a wagon ride pulled by two large white horse. Cooper had fun petting the horses after the ride around the fields. We finished off our morning by making a candle, a rag doll, a bean plaque and even making a scarecrow. Cooper was also pretty good at trying to rope a calf! It was great fun and Cooper always likes to hang out with Trenton and Brady! Thanks Stacey for the great idea!
Cooper making a bean plaque. He did manage to get some on the glue and even some in his mouth.
Brady, aren't cows your favorite animal too. MOOOO
Cooper was a little more interested in the hay than making a scarecrow. But, still having fun.
Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles. Just Joy, glycerin ,and water. You have bubbles for a year!
Yummy homemade biscuits. Cooper had one and was looking around for more!
